Ross is a qualified Grade 6 Trombonist with the Royal School of Music and as such has a good knowledge of music theory. His guitarmanship is all self-taught. Even so, many who have seen Ross have expressed an interest in guitar lessons from him.
Ross isn't a qualified teacher, but his relaxed attitude and amiable character make learning guitar a fun experience. Jimi Hendrix he's not, but if you wan't to learn to a decent level without too much of a headache, Ross's method could be the one.
If you should finally take the leap to be professional, Ross can advise on the advantages and pitfalls of being a musician for a living, as well as helping with contacts and places to avoid!
